Default Bottom machine problem

I have a problem with my fishfinder losing data from the tranducer when Ive been out a while. The amps read around 11.8 to 12.0 on the guage when the alarm sounds and the screen reads "No Data". should I add a 3rd battery just for my electronics? Unit is a Raymarine C80, DSM300 and a 200/50 600 watt transom ducer. Thanks, Ed

well, the real issue is that a battery at 12.0 volts is dead. Something needs to be done with the system, but there's to many varibles to call it from here...

prodigalson is correct a dead battery will show 12 volts, if there is any doubt about a battery replace it.
