dont have a 376c, but have had a 176c for 4 years now for use on my center console. I have had no issues what so ever, but I am also in the great lakes fresh water and get 6 months use (I have used it in my car some too with no issues). But I also remove it when not in use so it doe not stay exposed to elements. The above review seems to be for a motorcycle environment which I cannot comment on - but vibration, element exposure etc seems more severe. but you make the call. Screen is small-ish so make sure you can see it without having to find your reading glasses. I like mine alot given the caveats above

Have had a 376c installed on my boat for two and half years......I can't say enough good things about it. I use it as a backup and move it from the boat to my truck ... it great in the truck. I have the XM weather/music package so it really packs a punch. Have it connected to my Clarion radio so I can listen to XM music in addition to keeping track of the weather. I have it connected to my SH Phantom 1000 VHF backup VHF(via NMEA) so I have full DSC capabilities with it. Here is a picture of the boat install and a couple of videos. It's a terrific value.
