Default XM weather in the PNW.. does it work??

What experience have readers had with the XM weather products in the Pacific Northwest. Has anyone used this or other in the San Juan & Gulf Islands. What coverage do you get?

Seem all the info is East coast focused. I am considering adding this to a small boat but not sure it really is worth the $$ in this area.

I've used XMSR radio in Alaska. Not sure if the data for the weather stuff is on the same satellite.

I just uprgraded the software on my 376c to version 3.90 and part of the patch was expanded coverage into the Canadian Maritimes and Gulf of Alaska. I'll turn my equipment on today a find out.
