Default Lowrance X111HD bad performance in cold weather?

Anyone else experienced a performance problem in cold(<40 degrees) weather?

The last several times I've had my unit out in sub 40 degree weather it acts like the sensitivity is turned way down even thought the settings have not been adjusted.

tx,

I run the 110C on the Gulf out of Matagorda and I haven't experienced what you describe. Call Lowrance and see what they say. You can email them as well.

Good luck with emaling them. I have two emails in to them and two weeks later there has been no reply to iether.

I run all the time in sub 40 degree weather and haven't had that problem. The colder water seems to add clutter on the screen if anything. DId you maybe turn off the auto sensitivety?

It took lowrance about 1 month to respond to my email. I just called them and got the same answer in about 20 minutes. But I have had very few problems with lowrance equipment.
