Default Furuno -Lowrance NMEA connection problems

I'm trying to get my older Lowrance GlobalNav 310 GPS to send NMEA data to a new Furuno FCV-620 echo sounder. I need your help with the wire connections.

Both units are set to work with NMEA version 2.0
Lowrance GPS has NMEA output turned "ON" GLL,RMC/RMB,APB sentences turned "ON"
black wire- neg.
red wire- pos.
green wire- gps receive nmea
white wire- gps send nmea
blue, brown and black wires, installation manual says not used with this unit.

Furuno FCV-620
black wire- neg.
red wire- pos.
white wire- TD-A
blue wire- TD-B
yellow wire- RD-A
green wire- RD-B
brown wire- temp in
orange wire- temp in ov

It still snowing here on Lake Ontario so I've got about a week to get my wires "un-crossed".

Thanks in advance
Jim S.

furuno yellow to lowrance white
then connect the furuno green to the same grounding point that you used to ground the lowrance's power cable.
