Default dummy i-pod question

Ok, I am not a computer whiz-dangerous at best so I thought i could get a more acurate answer here. My 13 yr. old son has an i-pod nano and i-tunes on my computer. I bought my wife an i-pod shuffle. My question is how do I get an independant account / playlist or whatever so that she can download her own music and not have to listen to my 13 year olds crazy stuff. I am sure there must be a way but i cannot figure this one out. Any help is gaciously appreciated. Thanks.

Default Re: dummy i-pod question

make seperate play lists for them. in the bottom left corner of i-tunes there are four icons. the first one is a pluss "+" click that it will creat a new playlist, name it, then click on the song you want from your libery(sp) it should highlite drag it over to the new playlist and release it, then repeat. then all u have to do up date the the unit with the play list u want. I have a play list for the boat, my wife, the gym and even buy music classifation.
