Default FYI Cutting Cables in a C120 Raymarine

Just installed a C120 on the roof of a Hardtop in an upside down Navpod. The pulling of the wires was a PIA. I cut the DS300 wire that runs from the DS300 unit to the C120 so I would not have to drill 3/4" holes. I do not think I could have snaked the connector past some of the bends. If it didn't work I was going to buy a 10M cable because the one I had was too short.

When you cut the wire Solder the wires and heat shrink them. Don't forget the shield. There are only 2 wires in this cable... 3 counting the braided shield... I also extended it 3'

PS... The Navpod's are not reversible so if you want to put one upside down it is a different part number
