Default Simrad evo3 and 2 transducers.

Have a question I want to hook 2 transducers up to my EVO3 and can't find a video on how to do the settings on the evo3. I know when you go to setup it shows two channels. Hooking B175m and B60 up. So would channel 1 be the 175m and Channel 2 be the B60 obviously it would depend on the port I plugged them into as to what channel they would show up on I would think. I have a evo3 and a evo2 and moving the B60 to the EVO3. I will move the LSS2 to the evo2 do I need to check the network sounder on both evo's. Any help with any other setting as far as setup goes would be greatly appreciated. I've watch I think ever video I can find and can't find the information.

Thanks

The best configuration is to have B60 connected to Evo2 and B175M and LSS-2 to Evo3. B175M to CH1 and LSS-2 to CH2.

B175M is automatically detected and configured. B60 don't have XID so you manually have to select it in the transducer installation menu.

That's the way I have it now and having issues with the temp freezing. Simrad tech said to try hooking the b175m and the b60 to the evo3 and the lss2 to the evo2. I don't think I selected a channel 1 or 2 for the transducers on the evo3 think I just plugged them in and it seemed to work. Try taking some screen shots the next time I'm on the boat. Thanks for the help.

Maybe abbor can confirm, but I remember back in the old days Simrad had trouble with multiple xdcrs with temp sensors. We had to cut a wire in one of the xdcr cables so the head unit wouldn't see 2 different temp sensors and get confused. Don't know if this is still an issue now with N2K and such

Should the B175m be hooked to the blue or black port on the evo3?

If you are connecting the B175M and B60 to the evo3 I don't think it will matter. Structure scan needs to be in the correct port but traditional can use either.
