Default Any news on new standard units?

Anyone heard anything on a new 10" or 12" plotter from Standard?

Did you listen to the podcast? What other details did you want?

Thanks yes, listened to it. Was hoping it would mention something about resolution, NMEA 2000, built in fuel manager, etc. Hoping its not just a CP1000 that is 2" bigger.

Guess I will find out next week. I like the Radio University. It is an interesting concept as another method of advertising.

In addition to the Podcast Interview I had with the Executive Vice President of Standard Horizon, I now have the text from the 2007 Catalog posted as a BLOG entry. It looks a little rough and seems to be a draft copy. I got it direct from the Exec. VP. The Chartplotter information is on page 8.

Thanks James, After finding out the model number I was able to go find a pic. Interestingly Resolution is listed as 800x480 but other 12" plotters (raymarine and Navman) are 800x600. Guess I am about to find out this week. Other than increased resolution and size no earthshattering changes.

No problem! I was a little surprised by the resolution listed as well...

I wonder if it's a typo. 800x480 is a weird size.

Chances are they did make a mistake or copied the specs from another unit and did not change the resolution.... Lets hope.

Think so because I saw it listed as 800x600 on another page. Gosh I hope that they have done more than just a bigger CP1000. I would hope that they integrated NMEA 2000....then I can hook up the etec to it.
