Default Marine Box Speakers?

Planning to install a couple box speakers on my T-top. Looking for a decent pair in the $70-$125.00 range. The system I have is not high dollar but all I need. Current setup is a Pioneer 200watt 4x50 stereo with two 6.5” 80 watt pioneer marine speakers. I think the box speakers will add a lot to the overall sound. I would appreciate input and recommendations.

spend $200 and get the Bose 151 speakers as they are awesome sounding as well as indestructible. check out ebay, just bought a second set new for $200. keep checking as some sell for $300 sometimes. or find a used pair that you feel comfortable with.

Alpine makes a very good pair of marine speakers in the $130 range.

gofsn. Did you mount them vertically or horizontally? Also in your product lit does it say what the resistance of the speakers is?

Bazooka and Infinity also make box speakers. Shop around for 'wakeboard speaker' and you'll find a plethora of choices. They're made to clamp/install on wakeboard towers, so they're easily adaptable to T-top tubing.

Poly-Planar MA800 - about $100 a pair. I mounted a set under the T-Top on a Pursuit CC I had so I could crank the volume and hear the stereo when underway at high speed. There not Bose but at 30 knots, who could tell.

No highs, no lows, must be Bose. Hardly a sound quality to strive for. Their marketing, however, is flawless.
