Default 2650 Watt Install with Pics

As some know we have been doing another custom install for a big OEM. The customer supplied the equipment and we supplied the engineering and manpower. The install was 3 Kicker Ampliers: 1 1250watt 1 channel, 2 700watt 4 channel, 4 10 in subwoofers, 8 pair 6.5 in component speakers, 50ft 1/0 ga wire, 2 platinum distribution blocks, 3 waterproof fuse holders, 12 ga speaker wire. For temperature issues we installed 2 5 in low profile fans that are thermosatically controlled to kick on Fan A 110 Deg F and Fan B 130 Deg F. The fans are mounted at the bottom of the cabnet to blow hot air upward and away from the amps. At 170 deg F a 3rd temp prob will open the main circuit via contactor for a final added protection. What is not shown is the lexan cover for the amp with the OEM logo sandblasted into it and the hidden blue LED lights. The green tape is to protect the finish on the cabnet. Almost forgot, a David Clark intercom system is also on board. Heres the pics

2 Group 27 AGMs on a battery iso.. the stereo is integrated into the intercom system so the sound at high speeds will come thru the headphones.

You should hear the motors without the mufflers on them..

And you will use the speakers rather than dynamite to raise the fish . . . hmmmmmmm . . . you may be onto something

Question . . . how long will the two dedicated batteries run the sound system?

We ran the system for 4hrs with no problem, you can only turn it up so loud before you loose your hearing. This boat is a poker run boat and is not for fishing thankfully. If we had to choose we would have changed a few things (Speakers and Amps) but this is what the owner wanted. The blue amp end caps are being airbrushed to match the paint on the outside of the boat next week. Total time for install was 61hrs.. This is an extreme install and is more for show then go.
