Default Another BIG Thank You to SWFLNavigation

Ordered a bunch of JL Audio gear... including a pair of 7.7s, a pair of 6.5s, a sub, and a sub amp from Mike on Thursday. Knowing I had some free time this weekend, I asked if there was any way I could get everything on Friday. "No problem" was the answer - with the exception of the sub amp which would be coming Monday. To my delight, everything showed up, WELL PACKED, on Friday - even the sub amp.

So far today, I've got the sub and the 6.5s installed. Tomorrow will be the 7.7s and the sub amp, but so far so good.

Again, just wanted to express some public gratitude for being well taken care of. What a refreshing change from the "usual".

Rick

PS - Those JL Audio speakers sound SWEET compared to the MB Quart stuff that they are replacing!

I put the 6.5s in the a-pillars, the sub in the console on the starboard side near the bottom, and the 7.7s will go in the bow facing stern. If I really get a hair up my u-know-what, I may move some things around inside my console and stick another sub on the port side of the console. Right now there is too much in the way to do it cleanly - probably another full weekend project.

think long term about putting a pair of coaxials at the transom - they are the biggest change I made after buying my stuff. They "fill" the sound like you would not believe for the pilot postion when at cruise speed....

Absolutely, I've been hunting around the back of the boat trying to figure out where I could mount another set...so far, I do not have any bright ideas..... another thought was if I do the hard top, I can do another set firing down from the top. I've seen that done and it looks and sounds great!
