Default True north or Mag north?

I have 2 chartplotters on my boat, 1 takes C-Map NT the other Navionics Gold. Does anyone know if these were written useing Magnetic or True north? And does it make a differance with the accuracy of finding bottom structure? I run mine in the Magnetic North setting so they match the compose, just sittin' here wondering.

Default Re: True north or Mag north?

True or magnetic north setting has no affect on the positional accuracy or positional affects of the particular type of chart system.
