Default New electronics, new thru hull ducers, what with old thru hull transducer?

If new electronics are installed, and the thru hull transducer needs to be changed (looking at Garmin Side view which is two thru hull transducers) what to do with the remaining old one? Just leave it? Pull it and fiberglass work? Thanks

Most side scan transducers only have about a 2" hole for the stem.
