Just install a regular flush mount vhf inside out and voila, you have a reverse flush mount vhf

Have you checked with new marine? I assume they have a kit for that as they offer reverse flush mount for displays...

By reverse flush mount, you are looking to have the surface of the vhf completely flat with your dash??

I think what you are referring to would be a zero reveal mount.

If I understand correctly what you are asking, check out the Icom Black Box (400bb). I have the box mounted in my console and the only thing on my helm is the command mic. Works well and saves space.
