Anyone got any screen shots that you wanna post up? Looking specifically for a b175L out in the deep stuff. 800’-1,000’ and deeper, mainly interested in the detail it can show out deep. Either deep dropping or swording, does it show bait that deep, paint the bottom easy, etc, or any other details you’d wanna share.

That’s good stuff Gil. Those are what I’m looking for. Trying to decide on either the b175L, save space and be functional or go with the r111LM and install a battery size ducer in the bilge but see everything I want to out in the deep stuff. Either would be hooked up to a s5100. We have a B175hw on the boat now but want something for deeper waters.

I would get the R111LM.. i have the B175M now with a GSD26, its great! but I want better detail, deeper.. Here's some screenshots..

those look pretty good. Definitely leaning heavy towards to the r111. Do it once and be done, we have space in bilge. Just trying to see if there’s a good 2nd place option work looking at. That 2nd shot is impressive, Did y’all hook it?

One thing i wish garmin could eliminate is the fuzzy return on the bottom couple feet that is actually nothing. It’s almost always there and not present on the simrad units
