Default Furono 10pin to Garmin 4 pin

Iím looking for recommendations on how to connect a airmar with 10 pin plug to a garmin 74dv with 4 pin connector. Searches for a simple plug and play cable havenít yielded any results for this application. I understand I may not be able to receive all the features of the garmin.
Water temp and traditional sonar would be all Iím looking for. The through hull is already there and would like to use it if at all possible.

thanks

there are no plug and play adapters for what you have.

One option you can do is get a Garmin 6-to 4 pin adapter cable...010-11615-00 and cut off the 6 pin connector..cut of the 10 pin Furuno connecter and hard wire them together.

Thanks semperfishing. I peurchased a 8 to 4 pin adapter by mistake. Could I make this work and if so is there a diagram somewhere on which wires need to be tied together or is it all color to color.

The 8 to 4 should also work..as you still have to cut off the 8 pin side.

You need to look up the wiring code for the specific transducer you have.
