Default Another C10/engine data problem

Searched, but couldn't find anything similar.

Gauges have worked fine for years, nothing new on the the network or boat. Ran out 3+ hours on an overnighter and everything was working great, woke up the next morning in dense fog. Fired up the engines and noticed the STBD engine was not displaying any data. Dashes for everything STBD and same on all 3 gauges. Fuel consumption was clearly only reporting on PORT engine. The STBD C10 does have a different tone on button push than PORT, hadn't noticed that before but I don't change that gauge much either.

Twin 2016 DF300AP's
Ran the select sources in Network settings - no change
Confirmed setup is 2 engines, set as port and STBD, and 2 tanks are setup
Checked network device list and only the PORT engine interface appears
Removed STBD engine network cable from the Suzuki backbone, and reconnected - no change
Same on Garmin network device, no sign of STBD engine - Port reports fine
Reset the gauge holding up/down arrows and re-did install - no change
Poked around the engine plugs (not sure which one is SDS) and couldn't find anything amiss.

I'll try to get the engine interface cable into a different T connector to see if that makes a difference.

Any suggestions?

I just had the same issue. Had to replace the starboard interface and reprogram the gauges.

The tests and checks you are doing are the correct ones.

It sounds like the interface cable may have failed - if it doesnt appear on the device list then its not communicating with the network, So checking the physical connections and swapping T’s is the way to go.

Dont forget to look at the connection from the SDS plug on the engine to the engine harness - if the engine’s been serviced recently by a mechanic they might not have plugged it back together properly.

Im having the same issue. When you first key on, Does yours show the data for a few seconds then drop back out? Mine does. The rpm needle and temp shows for apprx 5 seconds then disappears.

No, I just have dashes during the power-up process.

After testing the T-connector and other connections, looks like the cable went bad. New one has been ordered.

Problem solved, new engine interface cable and I'm now fully operational again.
