Default Electronics layout

Looking for some opinions on electronic size and layout either 2 10” Garmins, 2 12” Garmins, or a single 16” Garmin which will give me room to also have VHF, stereo, and engine display to the right of unit. If I go the dual unit rout I will have to install all extras outside on console.

How big is your mounting area?

I would definitely go with twin 12" over single 16". You may be able to get away with more in that space than you think.

What VHF, Stereo, and Engine display are you using? I can try to lay it out for you and see how much space you have.

You may be able to use the VHF with a remote mic mount. Put the VHF in the console with just the mic on the front. Then use the Garmin for your engine display. Same with the stereo. These MFDs can control almost anything these days as long as they are all compatible devices on the network.
