Default Humminbird Solix Navionics maps wont display

New Solix 15, go to charts, click on Navionics instead of HB Base map, and I dont get Navionics data, just jagged edges of water/land boundary.

I read the manual, and doing what it says. Must be doing something simple wrong. Navionics is supposed to be pre-loaded on this model.

So I chatted with tech support. And they told me that's as good as it gets. I've been using Navionics base maps in different units for close to 20 years. I think it's a bunch of crap, bait and switch. Here is a picture of the ICW through Beaufort, SC. This is not Navionics I dont think.

Navionics is not preloaded on any solix. You have to buy a card.

Correct. I wanted to make sure you knew that. I was having issues with my Navionics card. Even switched it out twice. I recently switched from a Navionics card to Humminbird's CoastMaster. Wow! Huge difference. The detail is excellent. I like that you can switch from Navigation mode or fishing mode for much more detail.

Agree 100% on the New Coast Master by Humminbird.
Tides and Currents come with it. Incredible detail.

I think Im going to make the switch soon. A buddy gave me a Navionics Platinum card and its good, but for $150 Id like to see the Humminbird version and see how it integrates with my Ulterra.

The Navionics works fine in my Solix 15 but for this year coming up think Im getting the HB Coastmaster also. I think it does the whole coast instead of small sections of each state

From top to bottom he has views, data bar, navigation data bar, ipilot link, digital switching, engine data, and music. A better question is who uses GPS COG and why the voltage is so low?

My voltage is always that low unless I combine batteries. I think the house battery I have will not charge 100%, although my MK chargers always show 100% charge.
