Default Garmin 74sv power problem help

Has anyone had problems with their power cable on an echoMap unit start to rattle out of the unit when running? I have the first gen echoMap 74sv. Once I start running for a little while with a good chop, my power cable wiggles loose out of the back of the mount/unit. Plug it back in, no problem.

How do y'all keep this thing from falling out?

Is it the one where the round power/transducer cables stick through the cradle mount then you snap the unit into the mount?
If so there is a small plastic clip on the back of the cradle that is supposed to hold those cables in place. That little clip sucks and breaks pretty easily. That’s probably the culprit.

The design of the newer models is much better.
