You can get mix and match cables from airmar to go from garmin pins to a lowrance blue plug if I'm not mistaken.

B75H will be a better choice for your fishing due to narrower cone and higher frequency. B75H is the best transducer I've used when it comes to tracking bottom at speed.

Transducer placement is more important than anything when trying to keep bottom at speed. You need clean non aerated water coming under the transducer. If strakes, thru hulls or other turbulence creating items are in front of your transducer on the hull., you will have trouble with holding bottom on speed. Also mounting transducers behind step hulls causes lots of issues. Changing your transducer in the same location will not solve your issue.
