I have no room for a sub. However i have room for 4 8" speakers. Looking for the most bang. What's the best speaker amp combo? Looking to stay under 2500.

4 JL Audio 7.7s and this amp. New PLMRA620 6 Channel 2000 Watt Waterproof Marine Bridgeable Mosfet Amplifier
I'll be installing that amp this week. Ran the very same amp in the Fountain under the top but 3000 watt gave me 125 watts RMS PC I'm not boosting twin subs this time only one 8 inch sub. and don't need more than 75Watt RMP per speaker. Mounting everything over head in the top firing down .
Used one of these in the boat before the fountain worked perfect. What you need to be concerned with is the RMS watts on both the amp and the speakers I get tickled at those that think they have to buy a 1000 dollar amp when the speakers they are using are only rated for 75 watts rms. You can actually come back later and brigde the last two channls for a sub if you change your mind. I'm running 4 amped speakers and two off the stereo regular wires when don't have the amp on. 6 speakers total.. Run 8 speakers off the 1100 Watt kicker in the pontoon. 4 amped one sub and 4 off the radio but thats a 5 channel amp. .

JL 8.8's.
They need an amp with good punch to drive them.

Two sets of JL’s 8.8”s bridged on an 800/8 still impresses me.

I just installed two pairs of the JL 8.8's and used the JL MHD 600/4 amp and after doing all of my settings and tweaks the system sounds amazing nice clean crisp sound and it has enough bass for me. If you really like the deep hitting vibrating bass that shakes and rattles everything you wont get it from this set up. But for a clean and well balanced sound you cant go wrong, the bass on some music can still send a rattle just not obnoxious

I'm now thinking I want to cut the $ back. Anyone have experience with the fusion signature speakers? I've also seen many suggest kicker as a lower priced option just dont know which models would be comparable.
