GARMIN NMEA 2000 for Switches
Hi, I am thinking about upgrading my Garmin unit so that I can use NMEA 2000 to control my switches like lights, bilge pumps and etc.. does anyone know to go about this?
Thanks in advance. |
Google C-zone. Thats what you are looking for.
|
Czone can get expensive real quick. Probably the lowest cost of entry (not counting the Garmin unit) would be this 6 bank switcher.
Maretron also has some digital switching hardware. |
Garmin bought empire bus a year or so ago, so that's another integrated product.
|
Seastar also offers a digital switching as well. Not sure if it's available for retail sale.
SeaStar Solutions |
Wondering if anyone has feedback on what is the easiest solution for digital switching with a Garmin unit. Seems like the options are Seastar (manufacturer only?), Maretron, and Czone.
Any feedback is appreciated. |
Yacht Devices YDCC is a pretty inexpensive solution also....
