I just took advantage of the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale and purchased the subject unit. (looking forward to getting on the water with it installed) Those of you that have this unit are you satisfied with it and how is the side and clear view function ? It will be a big upgrade from my current 546 screen but since I have installed a neama system i can use the smaller screen strictly for fuel flow and split the other screen for nav and depth.

I have this unit and am happy with it. The side scan is good for finding structure, not so much fish.

Love the 94. Here are a few stripers a couple weeks ago. Very clear and defined. I have it hooked to a NEMA 2000 also. I have it on an airmar thru hull.

Yes, the side and down on the Garmin units is best on structure.

Great unit coming from a Raymarine plotter in the past. I fish offshore at night and I love the ease of Navigation and situational awareness. I love the setting up perimeters with alarm so it lets me know when I am close to my selected bottom structure. Good unit.
