Default Need recommendations on Garmin chartplotter for flats boat

Looking for a Garmin (only) chartplotter on a 17' flats boat.

I'm thinking the new Echomap UHD 93/94SV. It comes with the GT54UHD-TM transducer.

This is a flats boat, so the majority of time will spend its life in <20' of water. Thoughts on this combo?

An excellent unit for depths less than 100'...especially for structure.
And if you have a trolling motor later you can add the PS22-TR for Live Vu.

The UHD94 would be my suggestion for your usage. I'm actually getting ready to put that unit on my flats boat.

I have the 94 on my East Cape. I like it, just fine.

Thanks everyone! I told my buddy who is buying the boat, so he will be getting the unit soon and I'll assist with the install. Looking fwd to seeing it!

Buddy has had this combo for a few months and has been unable to get a clear bottom return above about 5 mph in any depth water. I've adjusted the transducer every way I can..but no difference. Any suggestions?

I have a UHD74SV and like it very much. I couldn't fit anything larger on top of the console of my 18'8" ActionCraft.
I am generally in water less than 6' so fish finder is really no help. I'm a wade fisherman for the most part so the sonar let's me know when it is a comfortable depth to hop out . I'm still learning on it, doubt I will ever use all the sophisticated features. I have a full set of analog gauges but like the redundancy of the NMEA engine information.
