Default Getting a little more out of my b260 + TZT2 12

I recently upgraded my electronics. Chartplotter / sonar part of the system went from a Furuno VX2 with DFF1 to a TZT2 12 machine with no external sonar module. Same through hull dual frequency b260 transducer. By and large I am very pleased with the sonar performance. Marks fish great in shallow water and showed me plenty when zoomed to 200-300 ft over the continental shelf when it can't find bottom. Performance better than the old MFD. However, when trying to find bottom in 1,000 ft+ while swordfishing the new system does not perform quite as well. I start losing bottom at maybe 1,400 ft versus the prior setup at 1,600-1,700. Not a huge deal but I sure would like to be able to see what contours I can when dropping, particularly in this depth range. Any ideas on whether I can eke a little more out of the current setup? I have done nothing to try as last trip was the first time dropping for swords with the current setup. Prefer not to have add anything else to the system. Thanks

I was running it on low frequency (50), same as on the VX2 when deep.
