Default GPS, XM antenna location on CC

I am thinking of putting a Garmin 3205 GPS and GDL30 XM weather mod on my Sea Hunt Triton 207. I don't have a T-top and was wondering if flush mounting the GPS and XM antenna on top of the CC will work. I will also need a place for a vhf antenna, perhaps bracket mounted on the side of the CC and fold down when not in use?

Also, if anyone has any experience with the Garmin 3xxx series good or bad. I've read a couple of threads posted back in the spring about this unit. I like the modular plug and play of the Garmin and am planning on getting the GPS, sounder, and XM units. However, all that together is somewhat pricey$$$.

Thanks,

Glen E,

Do you have the 3006 or the 3206? Is there any significant difference and are you happy with the function of the various components?

I have seen the 3206 offered as a "network bundle" with the GPS, sonar, XM, and network hub at a pretty good price. However, I can't tell if you are getting everything that would be included if you bought the items separately...such as
the antennas and all necessary connections.

Thanks,

Deck
