Furuno GP7000 training DVD?

Default Furuno GP7000 training DVD?

Anyone ever see one for sale or used it? Opinions?

Haven't seen a training DVD for the 7000. Its a bit difficult to learn but you'll get the hang of it. Took me quite a while. Its not near as easy as a Garmin but once you get the hang of it I think you'll like it. The fish Finder on the 7000F is top notch.

Thanks Hal - was really looking for some advanced training on tuning out noise and sand etc on the sounder. After about 4 months I have a hang of the menus and plotter but the sounder fine tuning is iffy...

BTW - It never reads anything more shallow than 4 feet - is this a setting I can change?

I have one and below 3-4 feet it locks up. I am not upset about it. I read somewhere, either on Furuno's web or the manual, they advertise it only reads down to ten feet. If it locks I have to turn it off and on again. Really a problem in two feet of water. If anyone knows what to do let me know.
