Well I sent my FF back for the second time Monday they said it was my fault which it was just like the first time btw fFxed it free out of warranty The problem was a bad power cord from chaff at a hole in the bulkhead
Received it Friday and it looks like they fix/replaced my scratched screen as well Terrible service don't you think I felt they should've sent me an E12o bundle

My experience with Raymarine tech service and repair has been nothing short of fantastic. When I have a problem, I get a specific techs. name and call him back instead of starting over with a new person.

My experience has been that they are very helpful if it is a easy to solve problem. For instance when the Raystar 120 GPS antennas went bad, their solution was to sell you a new RS125 antenna. No problems answering installation questions, replacing scratched screens, etc..

The problem is when there is a design problem, they will not admit to the problem nor provide a solution. Their A/P's simply don't work properly. RM A/Ps are incapable of tracking to a waypoint. Another example is the power issue with the DSM300. They point to improper installation, etc. even though a significant number of the units don't work properly including those that have been professionally installed.

Couldn't agree more. I have had an ongoing issue with my DSM300, sent in twice, both times told it was a voltage issue. This time, the tech told me that the DSM needs at least 8g wire straight from a battery. I used 12g. Give me a break. IMO, they should not have designed a product that is so voltage sensitive, they do know they are used on boats don't they?

Since my business involves reviewing technical reports all day, I found your reply wildly amusing, even if no one else did!
