Default New LCX-111HD -- Empty box when unpacking

I haven't called Boater's World or Lowrance, but I figured y'all would be a lot of help, so I'd try the question here first. I just unpacked the new Lowrance LCX-111 HD I ordered from BW. Inside the shipping box I found several smaller boxes. However, one was empty. It had a Lowrance part number of 003-5918-000. I cannot find the part number on the Lowrance web site or anywhere else. The large shipping box did contain the head unit in one box, mounting bracket an power cables in another, GPS antenna and cables in another, transducer in another, an LEI speed wheel in original plastic package, and an empty box with the previously mentioned part number printed onto it. Do these units come with the mapcreate software and card reader? My old LCX-16Ci did. Could that have been left out of the original pack at the factory? Thanks for the help!

I will be picking up my LCX-111c from UPS tomorrow. If no one else has answered by then, I'll let you know what I find inside.

Well you got more than I did. The main box contained 3 boxes; 003-6566-00 contained the GPS receiver, mount, and power & data cables. 003-6198-00 contained the mounting bracket for the display unit, and the single-freq skimmer transducer. No paddle wheel, or any way to even use one with the supplied ducer. The third box contained the display head and manuals. The outside of the main box had a p/n of 100920070 and was listed as an LCX-111c HD combo pack. There was no room in the main box that mine was packed in to contain anything else, not even empty boxes, so you must have been shipped a different combo pack.

Is your transducer a dual freq or speed/temp ducer?

my transducer is dual freq plus temp. The speed sensor is a paddle wheel to mount onto transom, but not onto ducer.

My combo pack is the 50/200 freq. unit. Is your's a single frequency unit?

The hard drive model does not come with the maps etc as they are built in. Mine came also with an empty box, and it was marked as such. The empty box was there to cushion the other one just like it, in the main box.

Cool deal butch. I hope it works well for you. Bye the way, I see you're from spanish fort, al. My boat is at Spanish Fort and I am down there quite often. If you are ever short on a fishing partner I may be able to help you out! Congrats on the new purchase!

I am in SW Georgia near Albany. The in-laws and their folks all live in the Daphne/Fairhope/Foley area. I will be sure to drop you a line when I'm heading down. Maybe we can get together and wet a hook.
