Default Electronics installation sealant

I need a sealant for flush mount electronics that won't act like glue. I don't want to damage the unit or the dash if the unit needs to come out.

I have used RTV sealant with Pam before with some luck.

Anyone got a better way?

Boat Life Clear Silicone. Remains flexible, not an adhesive. I apply a thin bead to the unit - just enough to create a seal. If you need to remove, a razor blade will do the job.

agreed - clear silicone can be cut witha xacto knife and then rubbed off - siliconed a flush mount gariim 2010 and turned out perfect with a little rubbing....

I use the grey self adhering window sealing tape from any home store. Works great.
