Default FLIR - Handheld Scout Performance

We’re thinking of buying a Flir Scout and was curious how they perform, target identification, capture distance, clarity, etc. We make a few long runs at night and are looking for an addition to our radar. I’d appreciate any comments on your experience with this product or a competitive product.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Which model specifically were you looking at? There are quite a few options. I have an Ocean Scout TK and a Scout III 640. For the price, the Ocean Scout TK is very handy and will definitely help you see things in the fog and dark, out to a few hundred feet or so.

I have a (almost) new Ocean Scout TK in the box. I got it for the same purpose but then went with an installed M232. PM me if interested.
