Help me wire my new Kicker wakeboard tower speakers please.

I just got my new KMTC11’s and the installation manual is quite vague with how to wire them to the amplifier.
Here’s my issue.
These aren’t coaxial speakers as the tweeter and mid wire separate of one another. (two wires to the tweeter and two wires to the mid)
How would I wire these to the two channel amp that was recommended by Kicker?
Thank you for any help.
My new equipment-

Wiring

They are still coaxial speakers as the components are still along the same axis. Kicker just gives you an option to Biamp your set up if you would like ( running the tweeters and mid drivers on separate channels). I called them about this issue when I got my KMTC9’s. Just run the leads for the compression driver and mid driver in parallel. They said this would still achieve a 4 ohm result. This way you can still run your two speakers off of the two amp channels.

Thanks, that all makes perfect sense. It’s odd that Kicker wouldn’t explain that with 15 words in their “installation manual”.
Won’t wiring the two 4ohm speakers parallel reduce the impedance to 2ohms?
Thanks again

No problem. Glad to help. I agree, the manual is missing much information as well as power handling and specs per component.

I specifically asked him the question about connecting the two 4 ohm components in parallel which would be 2 ohms. But he said it was 4 ohm either way somehow. I’m not sure if the internal circuitry somehow makes up for it or what. My typical assumption would lead me to believe that the components are actually 8 ohms and combining them makes 4 ohms. I haven’t had a chance to do any load tests to confirm it though.

Aren't those underwater speakers..??

Asking for a friend....

They’re marine grade, but not designed to be submerged from what I can tell.

Hmm...so weird that a company of Kickers prestige wouldn’t outline this in great detail. I could grenade these $1,500 speakers with ease without this basic information. Thanks again!

My thought exactly. Glad to help.
