Default Chart plotter for iPad or Surface Pro

I am looking for a Plotter program to use on my iPad. I would like to plan my routes/fishing trips from the comfort of my home. I have Simrad displays. I currently use iNavX and am not impressed with it’s interface. I also do not intend to pay Navionics $199/yr in order to sync my data. If there are no good iPad options, I do have a MS Surface Pro9.

Any suggestions? Thank you in advanced.

What's wrong with the interface on iNavX? I'm a long-time and happy user (no affiliation) having planned trips up and down the East Coast from the comfort of my easy chair.

What charts are you using in your Simrad?

If you have a Navionics chart and your unit can be synced with your phone you should be able to sync your waypoints from your Navionics account.
