See below for a before and after of an upgrade I did because this customer couldnít run a CMOR card in his Garmin system. If this customer keeps this boat and doesnít purchase something new, I have a feeling Iíll be replacing the entire electronics with Simrad this winter or sooner.

Yeah itís the 703 with Garnin as main system. Thanks

From CMAP Reveal website, "The high-detail C-MAPģ Reveal imagery replaces shaded relief data in selected areas with more accurate depth variations, revealing the best fishing and diving spots."

How can one get information on the "selected areas"?

The dark blue areas on their maps is the reveal area (I posted my areas map in this thread), Light blue is standard. Click on the map of your area on their website.

I purchased (2-months ago) a new NSS12 Evo3 and already received my $500 rebate but it was before these C-Map cards were available. My understanding is I can get both the Rebate + The C-Map Reveal Card.

Anyone know how I can get the C-Map Reveal Card?

If you click on the link in the original post, the click ĎView Chartsí, the yellow shaded areas are whatís available in high resolution depth shading. Unfortunately, CMAPís website hasnít been updated and doesnít show all available areas, which stretches up the US east coast. Iíve seen the complete Reveal coverage areas, but theyíre on a distributors website.

We have some New Orleans to St. Lucie inlet cards coming in either today or tomorrow. Let me know if youíre interested. You could also work with your local electronics store and have them get CMAP cards from one of their electronics distributors. Seawide Distribution has several different areas in stock in their Sarasota warehouse.

If you get a chance, can you look at the Florida east coast out of Ponce Inlet and see if it has more coverage than shown? Thank you.

You are correct, the card sent for free with Rebate is not the CMap Reveal Card. Itís a basic card I guess. Customer service replied to an email I sent and they told me I was on a list to get the card, but that itís Not Reveal.

Was the card they sent you any good?

As or right now not very impressed with it. Been on the phone with c-map and simrad checking the settings. My stock loaded insight on my evo2 does a better job at showing bottom contours than the c-map card I just got. Hopefully it's just a setting.

Good luck, I actually just purchased the CMap Reveal chart card since its not what they are sending as part of that rebate. Check your Shaded Relief setting. But maybe that's just for the Reveal card.

was on it yesterday but didnt go past 300' cuz it was so rough. This card shows every single rock inside the reef line, and did have alot of detail around the commonly fished humps(which i didnt go to yet), but did not show any other areas in deeper water. I was disappointed it didnt have anything past the reef line even around 100-200'. Will get some pics later. I admit i didnt scan any other areas.

a few pics...first one is wide shot of lower keys, the next 2 are wide and zoomed in view of the humps area. Others are as shown....Davis and Alligator reefs.

Anyone know what is up with their website? When I click on 'View Charts' it comes up as 'No Result'.

Side by side comparison to the cmor. The cmor definitely has more detail for the NE FL area. I like the keys coverage on it though.

Thank you, that is a great comparison! C-Map needs to improve.

I'm sure they'll improve in future releases.

Where can we get one of these, are they out of stock? I am going to the Keys on 6/1 and would like to get one before then. Only place I can find online is West Marine and they donít give the ship time. I am in Tampa, anyone local carrying these?
