Default Bote Flood Weight Capacity

Just bought 2 10'6" Flood's for a screaming deal on Craigslist for my wife and I to use around sandbars and fishing the creeks. To be honest, I didn't even think about weight capacity being a concern, but I'm now reading that if you are within 50lbs of the max weight, you should move up a size. I'm 6'2" 195 so i'm only 35 pounds without gear from the max limit.

is this really going to be a problem? I would imagine having a small yeti and light gear so i would easily be pushing it, but not going over.

Geez, crickets...
My short answer? Try it out and see if it feels unstable to you. If marginal, try again with different weight distribution. If you STILL aren't comfortable, sell it at a profit (screaming deal after all), and move up a size for you. I've found moving my feet an inch or two can make a huge difference in how the board performs.
