Default Contender 27 Open Repower and Total REFIT

This beauty underwent a total transformation by his owner and was brought to us for a serious power upgrade. We had the opportunity to install new tournament steering and twin DF300. This boat and the owner were a true pleasure to work with. Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment.

I was really temped to put 300's on mine but the 100 pounds allegedly ruins the ride. I have my doubts it looks so perfect

Looks very nice and will be FAST. Curious on fuel burn. Wedges installed? Trim tabs needed underway?

I opted for F150's on my 01 27 open due to transom weight. 2.0+ at 30 MPH. Very happy...

Yes wedges installed and with the first set of props we were at 60 mph. We changed the props and will run it again tomorrow. Darkness set in.

Looks great. Any issues with the additional weight out back when the live well is full and you have a few guys fishing back there?

Mike-
I think we are all curious as to what, if anything you did to offset the added DF300 weight??
And how she sits in the water?
