Got my new gauge today

Took a closer look and I have two cables coming out of my current digital SMIS gauge, one for motor one for buzzer(little black, white, blue, yellow in buzzer cable). New gauge has one cable for motor

Do I have the right new gauge???

Yes you have the correct gauge. There is only one wire on the back and that is the NMEA N2K cable.

So remove buzzer and it`s wiring and plug in new gauge. New gauge has internal warning buzzer??? Just want to make sure I`m all set before I dig into it.

Thanks

That was the easiest install and default setup on just about anything I've done.

So far so good, looks great

The new gauges have some great features built into hem. The buzzer is now included inside the unit. No need for any type of external buzzer. In addition you can adjust the volume in the set up as well.

Default New Suzuki Multifunction Color Gauge

Are there two version of this gauge out there?
Take a look at this link for another version of the gauge that has a threaded nut that secures the gauge instead of having to drill 4 screws into the console.

Is the above still accurate? I read on other threads that they are supporting back to 2012? I have a 2012 DF300 I would like to install these on, but concerned about what issues I might encounter if they are not supporting older than 2013 with patches going forward?
