How does it compare to a Simrad sp110 or Garmin gph 10?

I have a 26' pacemaker wahoo inboard with hydraulic steering and a Furuno DGPS 1650 and Garmin 741SX

The main advantage of the Reactor series is the following technology:
The GHP Reactor Autopilot Series provides unprecedented performance by integrating a new, solid-state 9‑axis attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) that yields less heading error and course deviation, reduced rudder movement and lower power consumption, thus providing a smoother ride and overall better experience for the mariner.

Now that it is working correctly, it is a very nice autopilot, extremely smooth, the outboards barely move to keep you in a perfectly straight course.
Make sure if installing one to choose the dealer setup versus the user setup for the underway wizard as there is an extra operation in there that is needed to find north.
I'm sure Garmin will be fixing that with a software upgrade.

Cheese and Rice! After the last upgrade it is out to lunch again, once engaged it drives the engines against the stops and put the boat in a hard starboard turn!

I like the smart pump. In the end it is your choice.

Mike,
Installing a Reactor AP. Having problems. Working with Garmin. Thought I'd give you a note.

Loaded software update and checks ok.
Fittings all tight.
Bled the Seastar hydraulic system and manual steering smooth.
Cracked Opened the Black Knob on the pump manifold and bled.
Opened Dockside wizard. Reactor will only steer to starboard.
Reactor Pump will hum and then whirr when operating to starboard.
Reactor Pump only hums when pressed to port no whirr. Like it’s not kicking in.
