Default Florida - Hurricane Irma - International Marine

Dear THT Friends,

I would like to take a second to say thank you for all the calls, text, PM, and visits to our shop this past week. The outpour of kindness was mind-blowing. International Marine has been diligently getting ready for Hurricane Irma and our crews have been getting Suzuki repowers out and sea trialed as late as Friday of this week. The purpose for the extra hours and work effort was entirely for our customers who have entrusted us with their prized possession. The entire team has come together to ensure every single customer has a safe place INSIDE one of our three warehouses during the storm.

Florida will be getting a direct hit; some members will lose everything they own to include houses, possessions, and their boats that they have worked so hard for. International Marine will be by your side long after the storm passes to assist in anyway possible. This is neither a time nor the place to make money off of others misfortune. We will do WHATEVER it takes to get each end every one of you who have been affected back to some sense of normalcy. This is about a Florida company helping Floridians that are down and out and need to recover. Many of you know that International Marine was the first to offer up a Theft Benefit for the members here. As a result we met with to our entire team and we were all in agreement to extend this effort to storm victims as well.

So how does this affect you?

1. International Marine will replace at dead cost any electronics or accessories that you have lost at dead cost. We will make ZERO from and one who has been affected.

2. Many vessels will also require repowers. We will also do this at dead cost.

3. We will work with you to ensure that you have the needed documentation for your insurance company. We understand what you are going through and we will take as much of the burden from you as we possible can.

4. We will reduce our labor rate for victims by 25 percent. Keep in mind we do have to operate so we need to just cover our labor costs.

5. We have manufacturers rules that will need to be followed as far as pricing goes. We will follow all rules as we have done in the past. We will speak to each of our manufacturers on an as needed basis to make sure you are taken care of.

Again, thank you all so much for all the calls and willingness to assist us while in the preparation phase of this horrific storm. We will all get through this and bounce back as we have done in the past. If I can do anything for you 24/7 my cell is 561-777-2242. I will do whatever I can to assist you.

Again, this is about a Florida Company Helping Floridians as we are going through this storm right along side you all. I wish everyone a safe weekend and I look forward to posting up on Monday if we have power, etc.

Respectfully,

Mike and the rest of the I.M. Team

IM rocks.

Don't take it personal, but I sure hope I don't have to call you. All preparations done, waiting for that bitch.

I am with you. It would absolutely make my day if I did not have to field one of these calls. We are waiting too. I am hoping that we will ALL come out good from this. This storm really is no joke and I am glad almost all did proper preparation.

What a great offer! I agree with the others that said they hope to not have to take you up on your offer. But I do feel a little better knowing you have our backs! Thanks!

We have been though a few tragic events here of the past few years. In the end it is all about family, boating, and having a great time in life. If we can help make anyones day brighter that is what we are all after. In the end life is short, lets enjoy it and make sure we are all taken care of.
