Default Boat With Confidence At Night - Save $200 today through 3/31/20

Boat with confidence in the dark. Whether you’re pushing off early to head out fishing or navigating back after dark in the evening - color night vision can greatly reduce stress and add enhanced safety while navigating.

With the SiOnyx Aurora, there are 2 easy ways to leverage it’s night vision capabilities.

Monocular

A simple way to see in the dark is to just put the night vision camera up to your eye and use it like a monocular. The system powers up in about 1 second to easily see what’s in front of you.

Wireless

Another popular way that boaters are using our night vision camera is by mounting the camera on their boat using a simple Ram Mount. Once the camera is mounted in a good position, you can wirelessly stream the night vision signal back to your tablet (Apple or Android) via our app.

Having a 10” or 12” night vision screen next to your Chartplotter and radar adds that extra confidence so you know exactly what’s in front of you.

Hey Harley, not yet, but hopefully soon. Right now, I'm streaming mine to a 10" iPad at my help that I've got mounted in that picture.

No discount on the Pro? That's a shame, would really have liked to get that model.

65% FOV and it's true night vision, so will see as far as your eye can see. No IR light needed, etc. Battery is rechargeable (I always have a few on my boat) and they will last 2+ hours, but you can hardwire too so it runs off the power on your boat. Lots of folks using in marine already, it's been one of our key markets. Some great threads here on THT too

Do you have any videos showing it streaming to a phone with a vessel underway?

Disregard. Found it.

Hey Autobaun, we actually used Ram Mounts. They're awesome, super strong. I used the "C" size ball attachments which were overkill but I like it that solid. Links I believe are in the video description here:

Thank you much. Just ordered a Sport camera a few minutes ago.

Found the links. To connect to the camera, just use a 1/4-20 standard camera mount?

Is the night vision quality going to be vastly different between the Aurora and Aurora Pro?

The Aurora and Aurora Sport have the same optics and sensor (which are awesome!) the new pro is going to have an increase on very dark condition performance and we will be targeting that product to Law Enforcement and SWAT for indoor very dark conditions.
