Maybe they are getting caught up because no one wants to do their tanks in the summer.

soon. Been slammed with a bunch of work along with this tank job. Just got my account statement from the parts house in today. Did right at $5k in parts last month just for the other stuff I had to work on. Might have to find and hire a good hand to fill
the gaps for me while I’m at the refinery working my shifts as an operator.

Roger that. Would like to see how you’re putting in the new fuel fills, vent hoses and fuel lines. Trying to figure out what’s the easiest way for that

top down. I install the hose and clamps on the fitting and feed it through the cap down. Kicker is you notch the hole just enough in one spot for the clamp nut to slide through. Also use good quality fittings and you’ll have more than enough flange to cover the notch you cut

while you're at a light grey deck with black caulk looks pretty nice.

Its been awhile since i've posted. I've been busy with the refinery and piles of other boat work on top of this tank job. So here is some updates
- Tanks glassed in with epoxy resin.
-Bulk cut flush so water can run off into bilge
-All fuel lines and sending unit wires installed along with tank grounds
Bilge sanded and repainted with gloss white urethane Sherwin Williams acrolon
-Under console access floor glassed in and painted also
Cut access holes in deck down to just cover senders
Decks glassed in and fared out. New nonskid on cap and deck complete.
Few days worth of plumbing and pump installation and she'

s ready for rewiring

Badass to see the progress. We are doing much of the same stuff, our tanks should be here next week.
Keep the updates coming when you can

That looks like good work!

I worked the FCC at that refinery for 17 years, I'm familiar with the shift work.
