Default RV's in Venice

Do you guys have a recommendation for RV parks in Venice with full hookups and boat parking, or at least electric and water? Planning a 5 day trip and I was wondering if was cheaper to stay in the RV or to rent a condo/house boat at 300 a night.

Well for a little more than you will pay for 4 days of houseboat rental in Venice, you can rent my 50x100' lot in Buras (15 miles north of Venice) for the whole year. It has electricity (50 amp), water, sewerage, and trash service. Let me know if interested.

In Vinton? Hell of a haul from Venice. Just curious, plans change or was it not a hardcore fishing trip from the get-go?

No, they are 6 miles from the Venice Marina. We were also looking for boat parking since we are coming with a large boat in tow.

Roger that. They give you the low down on "separate location" for the boat storage.
Always have an eye out for something like this on the fall runs. Would greatly appreciate your assessment of the facilities upon return.
