its been a long time since I was there but they had a pistol range, rifle range (maybe 150 yds.) trap and skeet.. small trailer with a few necessities for sale and bathrooms but otherwise we brought everything we needed. bring targets, staple gun, water, spotting scope/binoculars, weapons and ammo.

The range was sold earlier this year; the new owners are quite nice. They did change the operating hours to starting at 9:00 AM, which I discovered when I rolled in a bit after 8 to shoot some skeet. The store inventory was quite sparse about 3 weeks ago, but they were beginning to resupply a bit.

Check out Santa Rosa shooting center in Pace, FL. I shoot their regularly and they have a number of activities you can participate in.

Ed, thanks for your post.

I have been going to Shoal River range, just east of Crestview. It serves my purpose, but I will go check out Bullets & Bones.

Checked out their website, looks promising !

Thanks again, T.

its just a small no frills range, 10 or so pistol spots, 12 rifle spots at 100 with 3 of them going out to 200. There is a trap range and a skeet range. There is also a 5 stand but Ive never seen it in operation. Its a good group of guys that run the place. I used to go shoot skeet there often but life has gotten in the way.

Consider Three Brothers Arms up in Stapleton. Pistol and rifle, with the latter out to 300 yards. They are also a Class 3 FFL with gunsmith. Nice staff in my experience.

Have not been to Styx river since the new owners - but went quite often prior. Always enjoyed myself, plus I could ride four wheeler and dirt bike, camp out and canoe all in the same weekend. They enforce the rules, which is good but you feel like a newbie the way they treat you, and no rapid fire - even two fast shots will get you scoulded
