You guys better fish them during the week if possible. It sucks fishing them on the weekends during the boat show behind the shrimp boats

Cool, last report I got was the trawl boats were infested with sharks. Wish I was fishing the tuna challenge instead of being out here working.

Fished about a dozen shrimp boats Tuesday with no tuna to be seen.

Anybody else seen any? I was there Saturday and hit about 10 of them with nothing but sharks to be found. I hate to plan a day around them with nothing home.

I checked 10 or so boats on Saturday and didnt see a Black or Yellow. Only Jacks, bonito, and Sharks

What area? Plan on running west tomorrow.

Everything south of grand isle towards the river has been loaded with sharks since mid july....... worst i have ever seen the sharks.

We fished 2 sw out of DI last sunday. Pulled some nice Mahi off of them, then it was the BIG shark rodeo.

You saw more than we did - fished 3 near south pass on Saturday, didn't even see a shark...

about 40 miles due south of grand isle. Shrimp boats were loaded with sharks and bonitas.

Lol that's tuna fishing. They bite one day and not the next. I didn't think you were making it up. I know a few people that started pulling a few off the shrimp boats weeks ago. I was just letting you know I haven't been that lucky yet. Lol

Some good tuna brought into gi Gary but idl if they were from the canyon or the boats . . . hurricane hole tourney

They were there today. Plenty at the docks and I found one also. So many blackfin you catch until your arms can’t take it anymore.
