Default BRLA traffic

How is Baton Rouge traffic headed west bound about 7AM? I am driving from Slidell through BR tomorrow and would like to avoid regular backed up traffic if possible. Should I adjust my schedule?

Thanks

Adjust your schedule traffic backs up Denhan Springs further east. Plant traffic is busy around 6 a.m with the rest traveling past 8. Expect slow going until you get past Part Allen. I-10/12 can become a parking lot as there is no loop or alternate routes south of a Baton Rouge.

You want to be coming through BR around 7 or earlier. 715 to 900 heading west isn't fun. School is out so its a little better than normal.

Once you get pass the Acadian Exit it moves pretty well West.
