*IF* the OP had it all wrong I'd be interested to know if he apologized.

*IF* he is prosecuting and had to take it down I'd like to know the outcome when all is said and done.

So, did Josh have the elbow tatoo?

What was that definition on the difference between slander and libel.

A public forum is a terrible place to name someone as a thief/criminal even if you think you are absolutely positive. This does nothing to help move the prosecution of the perp forward and absolutely opens you up to all kind of liabilities. It's fine to let the local community that there is a thief hitting the community, but don't name names. Show pictures OK. Let others speculate on who it is. The OP can only cause themselves problems by accusing someone by name.

Hell, after the dang near 375+ comments--I mean CANS--of downright, all-over-the-spectrum written-word ass-whoopin' that the accused couple received in front of over 30,000 virtual THT.com shit-show viewers ...they ought to preside as honorary Chief Justices over all future THT disputes involving cases of questionable identity.

**To request the assistance of our newly appointed Chief Justices in a public dispute of which you are involved in, please tag harrison19874, and she will summon her battle-hardened counterpart. Together, they will preside, advise, and deal swift, Alabama Gulf Coast justice to accusers everywhere.

***Also offering counseling sessions to those who have been wrongfully accused. Topics include:

-How to Eat a Piece of Humble Pie
-Replies: Resisting the Urge to Take the Bait
-Responsible Posting: A Guide For The Accused
-Personal Insecurities: A Feast for All to Nibble On
-Processing Personal Attacks
-Sno-Seal: Topical Application Technique to Protect Skin From Razor-Edged Words

More topics to come as the full effect of the accusation is realized. Stay tuned.

Hey, my question stands, and it is a valid one. Do they not teach punctuation at Alabama?

I think the OP was made whole and had a change of heart on prosecuting. It would be tough to support a family with a felony conviction.

4 possible scenario's:
1. iBobi killed it.
2. LE told him to delete it.
3. He fingered the wrong guy and has his tail between his legs.
4. He has an Alfred Hitchcock fetish.

Shame really. I was so looking forward to the conclusion.

No matter what the outcome is, putting it all out there on a public forum with names just does not sit right with me. Post the perps picture with a BOLO I can respect, but if you know who it is, man up and confront face to face, not keyboard to keyboard.

Whats the old saying about a leopard and it's spots? If he did let whoever did it off, more than likely he will steal again somewhere down the road.

As a former student at the University of Alabama, I feel obligated to answer your ever so persistent query. They do not, in fact, teach punctuation at U of A. They do, however, assume with a relative amount of justification that one who scores high enough on standardized testing to be accepted into the university should not need further instruction in that discipline.

One should not assume, of course, that every swinging dick who wears crimson actually attended Bama!
