Default Venice Report 6/13

My concrete crew was a no show today so, my son and I went to Venice Marina and watched the boats come in. We sat there for probably 3 hours. 3:30-6:30. We saw probably 15 boats come in. 6 Mexican Gulf boats, Voo Doo, Superstrike, Home Run, and a few others. I saw one yellowfin that was already hanging when I got there, it probably went 150. There was also a nice sword in the cart when I got there. Probably 175. From there, it went down hill. One YF at probably 50, the next best was probably 30. I only saw 4 YF unloaded total. There were some nice BF maybe 20 total. Some nice snapper from probably 18-2 lbs. Quite a few mangrove. One smaller sword I would guess at 75 lb. Some small grouper. That's it. Fishing has been tough. I'm sure there were some better fish, that's just what I saw. I paid pretty close attention.

On a brighter note, I'm pouring Cement tomorrow. Figures....i bought a new boat and am building a place and the fishing slows down Lol. It will get better, I'm optimistic.

Eddie just drove the boat. I actually caught the damn fish. It is a gift of mine making charter captains look good.
