Wondering if the flood gates being opened is going to have the water messed up. I've heard the tuna fishing has been terrible lately

The east lump was a bust. Loads of sharks and kings. We caught one blackfin on a stretch. We didnít see or hear of anyone pulling in a yellowfin.

Biggest hammerhead I've ever seen - one utter monster, one of my crew instinctively took two steps back from the gunnel, pretty funny! We are pretty sure we hooked up on yellows twice but neither made it to the boat. Other than that kings, sharks and bonita plus one African Pompano. Spectacular day out there though.

Sharks, couple of real screamer kings on liveys and nothing, nada, no hope at all on a piece of chunk.
Deep dropping was productive, sort of, to save the trip. I'm sure the bite is hotter than Haiti when the seas are 4'+ or I am at work.

It sucks that amberjack and red snapper are closed because if nothing is happening at the lump than your options are very limited.

There were 5 boats here at Thunder Horse yesterday and I didn't see anyone hooked up or land anything. Although I didn't watch for very long, maybe they did catch something. The tuna was busting the surface on the north side of the platform. I saw one guy on a smaller sportfish jump down from the bridge, set out lines and chum. He was working his ass off. Saw one other person on the boat that came out from the cabin for about 15 seconds and then went back in. That guy wanted to fish bad!

Are the jellyfish moving in?

When those baby hardtails get up in there it can be hard to get yft to eat.

No jellyfish seen. Two different Freemans are out here now. I didn't see any action happening for the short time I watched.
